Ronda Ruby Ceramics has been BUSY making finishing a new batch of lamps for this Sunday’s Spring Show on May 6, 2012.
Last night, several hours were spent perfecting a new medium for lampshades – wicker caning. I am pleased with the results (except for the bits of cane that are scattered about the studio!)
Info about The Spring Show:
The Spring Show is a lively mix of artists in the atrium of Architectural Artifacts. Architectural Artifacts, Inc. is a architectural salvage store founded in 1987 by Stuart Grannen. Its focus has always been on pieces of intrigue, objects of a lost culture, the aesthetic and beautiful from all over the world.
The Spring Show will feature approximately 75 artists and I am excited that one of my favorite bakeries, Blue Sky Bakery will be on hand serving tasty, tasty pastries. (Fingers crossed that they will bring the cheddar chive scones that I <3)
Doors open at 10am and the event goes thru 5pm.
Admission is free.
